Biography

Danielle joined Smith, Costello & Crawford from federal government service, bringing a wealth of public policy and government relations experience across the federal, state, and nonprofit sectors.

 

Most recently, Danielle served as Deputy Regional Administrator at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In this role, she oversaw a broad portfolio of federal programs designed to strengthen health care access, bolster the health workforce, and support community-based public health initiatives across New England.

 

Previously, Danielle served as Vice President of Government Affairs at the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network, where she led statewide advocacy on behalf of nonprofit organizations across the Commonwealth. Danielle began her career at the Massachusetts State House as Senior Fiscal Policy Analyst for the Senate Committee on Ways and Means. In that role, she provided comprehensive fiscal analysis on complex state budget and policy proposals, developing deep expertise in the state budget and legislative processes. Her additional experience includes grants and development work with Reach Out and Read, a national pediatric literacy program, and leading community food systems initiatives across New England for the USDA Office of Community Food Systems during the Obama administration.

 

Across each stage of her career, Danielle has remained focused on strengthening health and human services programs, aligning public programming with community need, and advancing policy solutions that create lasting impact for clients and the communities they serve.
